We are pleased to announce that we have decided to start selling the new model ``KAGUYA-''. Following the previously announced model "㘴 -SOZORO-", we have chosen the world-famous human beatboxer "SHOW-GO" as the key visual.
Tanabata and Obon are closely related events that combine the myth of Orihime Kengyu, which was introduced from China, and ancient Japanese folk beliefs, so this new model ``KAGUYA'' was released on August 13th. A preliminary lottery sale will be held at the official online store from ~8/16.
Additionally, on QUTOTEN.'s 1st anniversary, September 10th (QUTOTEN. Day), we will hold the 1st Anniversary Market ``Kutoten'' and sell ``KAGUYA-''.
New model “Kaguya-”
Nowadays, there was a thing called an old man who was a bamboo cutter. I used it for various purposes, gathering bamboo in the fields and mountains. His name is Sanuki no Tsukuri. Inside that bamboo, there can be a ray of bamboo that shines. When I cradled it and looked closer, I saw that the inside of the tube was glowing. If you look at it, you'll see that there are people who are about three inches tall.
This new model, KAGUYA, best satisfies one of QUTOTEN.'s philosophies : ``Don't tell everything, leave it up to the receiver.''
World-renowned human beatboxer “SHOW-GO”
SHOW-GO is a world-famous artist and human beatboxer, born in Hokkaido and currently based in Kyoto.
Following the previous model ``㘴 -SOZORO-'' which had a gourd motif as its motif, this model was also used as the key visual for the new model ``KAGUYA-''.

1st anniversary market ``90'' held at Toai Yasaka store in Kyoto
On September 10, 2023 (QUTOTEN. Day) , the first anniversary of QUTOTEN., we will hold the 1st Anniversary Market ``Kutoten'' . The venue is ``Toai Yasaka Store'' operated by ``Toai'', a Kyoto ware and Kiyomizu ware pottery that is jointly developing QUTOTEN.'s works.
In addition to selling the new model ``KAGUYA-'', ``Kutoten'' also sells ``RIKYU-'', ``Yen -MADOKA-'', and ``㘴 -SOZORO-'' . We also sell planted plants including bonsai.
