Following on from last year, we will be setting up a stall at the largest pottery fair in Kyoto, "Kiyomizu-yaki no Sato Matsuri" @satomaturi_kiyomizuyaki , which will be held from October 18th to 20th.

Approximately 120 exhibitors have been confirmed, mainly from within Kyoto Prefecture and the Kansai region! This will be the largest pottery market in Kyoto Prefecture, specializing in Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki! From long-established stores with over 300 years of history to young artists in their twenties, you can see the charms of a wide variety of Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki all in one place. Come and find your favorite pottery, whether it's a one-of-a-kind item or a bargain.
*There is no parking lot nearby. Please use the special direct bus (fee required) from Kyoto Station.
There will be 24 food trucks and tents from a wide variety of restaurants from Kyoto and neighboring prefectures. There will also be demonstrations, sales, and workshops by the Kyoto Traditional Industry Wakaba Association, an organization of young craftsmen involved in traditional industries, making this a pottery market that anyone can enjoy!

A special direct bus will run from JR Bus stop 3 at the Karasuma Central Exit of Kyoto Station (250 yen fee) to the venue, taking about 20 minutes. A free shuttle bus will run from Tozai Subway Line's Tozai Subway Line's Tono Station to the venue (free of charge) * Both will only operate during the event period.
