An exhibition of QUTOTEN.'s flower pot series ``㘴 -SOZORO-'' will be held at Art Cafe Itoyufu in Kyoto.
The name ``Sozoro'' comes from the fact that the shape of a gourd resembles a person meditating.
Unique rounded form.
A somewhat tense presence dwells in the silence.
``㘴 -SOZORO-'', which is not flashy but has beauty that exudes from within, will be incorporated into the space along with plants.
Gourds are often used as a theme in the Zen world,
It is a plant with such mysterious symbolism that there is a Zen question and answer that asks, ``Can you catch a slimy catfish with a round, smooth gourd?''
QUTOTEN.'s model ``㘴 -SOZORO-'' was born by focusing on the beauty of the gourd's form and its blank space.
One of the philosophies of QUTOTEN.
"Let's enjoy ourselves first."
It is also the model that best embodies this idea.
