About Kyoto/Kibune Shrine/Okumiya
"Kifune Shrine"It is the main shrine of the 2,000 water gods nationwide, which enshrines the god of water, the source of life for all things.
It was founded very long ago, and although its origins are unknown, there are records of the shrine building being rebuilt in the 6th year of Hakuho, about 1,300 years ago, making it one of the oldest shrines in Japan.
And located at the very bottom"Okumiya"is the place where Kifune Shrine was founded, and is a sacred place surrounded by forests.
Legend has it that the yellow ship on which Tamayori Hime no Mikoto rode was enshrined in stones to keep it out of sight, and is still enshrined in moss next to the main hall of the inner shrine. There is a large hole called ``Ryuketsu'' directly below the main shrine, and the shrine was built above it. No one is allowed to see the dragon hole because it is sacred and should be abhorred to the public eye, and the dragon hole at Kifune Shrine is considered one of the three major dragon holes in Japan.
The first "AMBIENT in Nature™︎" will be held at Okumiya,A fantastic space lit with over 100 Japanese candlesWe look forward to seeing you there.
We also plan to sell hot drinks, snacks, and merchandise.

About "AMBIENT in Nature™︎"
"AMBIENT in Nature™︎"is an ambient LIVE performance set in the midst of nature.
Live music performances that are nature-centered rather than human-centered create an immersive and mysterious experience that focuses on natural sounds such as the chirping of birds and insects, wind and rain.
There are many sounds in nature, and when they harmonize together, an ecosystem is created.
Humans will be part of this.
Therefore, in this live performance, rather than performing songs, the performers will play ambient sounds as if surrendering themselves to the fluctuations of nature.
Sometimes it becomes an accidental melody, creating a beautiful harmony of ``nature and humans,'' and other times, it creates time to ``just listen to the sounds of nature'' without playing.
AMBIENT in Nature™︎Rather than just a music event, we want to provide a space and time to experience the beauty of nature.
There would be no greater joy than focusing on the element of "sound" as a hint to achieving this, and if we could help people gain a new perspective on nature and provide a place of healing for modern people who are tired of sociality and meaning.

Introduction of past activities/productions
Currently, I am involved in producing the following events/music, which will be held at Kibune Shrine this time."AMBIENT in Nature™︎"is a plan that combines these elements.
TIME & SPACE ™︎
A live performance that brings awareness to the "here and now" through an improvisational session of nature and sound. It is a musical genre, an immersive event, a fixed-point observation of sound, and a kind of philosophy. Live performances in nature encourage the discovery of perspectives that go beyond the human-centered framework of ``success/failure'' and ``right/wrong answers,'' and provide people who are tired of speed, efficiency, and city life with an immersive sanctuary-like experience that rejuvenates their minds and bodies.

Japanese music 2.〇
A music project that updates traditional Japanese music with a thousand-year history to modern times. In contrast to "Japanese music 1.0," which has been performed only with Japanese instruments, "Japanese music 2.0" is defined as Japanese music performed using Western instruments and electronics. A new Japanese sound that applies the musical mechanisms of traditional Japanese music such as gagaku, koto music, and folk songs, such as breathing intervals, scales, and rhythm. The host is Yukihiro Atsumi, a Japanese guitarist.

Finally
Winter snow melts and spring flowers bud.
After a sweaty summer, we are now heading into a dry autumn.
It is said that in ancient Japan, where the changing seasons were familiar to people, "art" and "nature" were the same word.
Nature is the highest form of art, and all forms of art aimed to bring us closer to nature.
In other words, this project is about learning from the past.
It was originally done in Japan hundreds of years ago, but it's something people have begun to forget.
October 2025.
Japan's new challenge of "art x nature" is about to be realized here.
Humans, animals, insects, microorganisms, and eight million gods all gathered in one place,
Let's enjoy "AMBIENT in Nature™︎" together!
