I like the shape of the plane.
But why,
Because I think it's the most functional form humans can imagine.
What if airplanes wanted to be cool?
The shape of the wings has been forcibly changed or unnecessary decorations have been added.
Doing so would decrease safety.
You wouldn't want to get on a plane like that.
Airplanes are designed to have the safest shape for flight.
That's why all airlines' planes are roughly the same shape.
It is something that all of humanity commonly recognizes as the "best" form.
And we will continue to update it to be more functional.
I believe this attitude can be said to apply to all aspects of manufacturing.
"The more we pursue functional beauty, the closer we get to nature."
That's my theory.
As in the case of the airplane, pursuing functional beauty means making the laws of nature our ally.
